Staff Appreciation Week May 1 – 5

Staff Appreciation Week

MAY 1-5, 2017

Let’s celebrate our amazing teachers and staff by participating in a week of fun events for teacher appreciation week, May 1-5.

Monday, May 1

The PTA Board will treat teachers to a delicious Continental Breakfast. Sign up at http://bit.ly/2oIizZX to bring a morning beverage to as many staff members as you’d like first thing Monday morning.

Please deliver all beverages to staff between 7:30 a.m. – 7:50 a.m.

Tuesday, May 2

Wear your Teacher’s Favorite Color to school and bring Fresh Flowers to school for staff. We will have mason jars out to collect flowers, which will brighten staff desks.

Wednesday, May 3

Please help Cater a Potluck Lunch for staff and teachers!   Visit http://bit.ly/2outPOx to sign up to bring a tasty dish to serve at least 10.  Please plan to have all food brought to the Staff Lounge by 10:15 am.

Thursday, May 4

Students (and parents): Now’s your chance to Write a Note of Appreciation to your classroom teacher and staff!

Friday, May 5

Please help show our staff how much we value them with a Nacho Bar for Cinco de Mayo and a Dessert Bar for a sweet afternoon treat. Sign up here to help with food donations:  http://bit.ly/2p5mtPX

Please deliver all items to the Staff Lounge by 10:15 a.m.

Help our teachers and staff feel appreciated all week long:

– Volunteer to complete special classroom projects for a teacher.

– Share compliments and notes of gratitude with our teachers on a blank poster that will be hanging in the hallway across from the office.

– Consider bringing a small gift for your classroom teacher and our staff — check out the “teacher’s favorite things” list (also posted by the office) for ideas.
