Garden News

Spring is here and so are more opportunities to spend time in our Sand Point Elementary Garden.

Monday 4/15 and Friday 4/26, Garden Club starts up. Students already registered will learn and work in the garden. It will be exciting to see what gets planted, see what grows, and to think about what we will be able to harvest later this year.

Nicole Parish-Andrews, our Garden Educator is also offering Garden Recess at times so that students have another recess alternative. She would love to have volunteers help her with Garden Recess. Garden experience is NOT required – just a willingness to share your time with very enthusiastic students who want time in the garden. Contact Nicole at (425)223-0283 or nparish@foxberryeducation.com

Sand Point Elementary Earth Day Celebration happens this Friday, 4/19 at 2:30, rain or shine! Accompany your student for games, activities, and check out the bake and plant/seed sales. For more information and/or to sign up to volunteer, go to https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0848acac2babfc1-earth

While you are at Earth Day, talk with Nicole about our Garden programming and learn more about how you can help support Sand Point Elementary garden programming provided by your SPE PTA.
