WHY: Even though we were unable to have our big annual fundraising benefit concert this year, we are committed to continue to support Sand Point Squirrels into next year. See the many ways SPE PTA supports Sand Point on the pie chart below.

MORE GOOD NEWS: Last Tuesday, the Sand Point PTA voted to contribute $1000 to the Rainier View Elementary PTSA to help with their call to support their COVID-19 Relief Fund. We have sent them a check!!

The decision was made that we will also give 50% of whatever we raise over our $100,000 spring fundraising campaign to Rainier View as well. Please donate by Wednesday, June 17, 2020 and help us to help others!

ONE MORE THING: Don’t forget about your corporate match, if you have one (corporate match dollars do not count towards prizes). This is a great way to stretch your donation!

We have set up a prize incentive for all of our donors. You will have a chance to win awesome prizes for every $50 you donate! We have 25 prizes valued at least $300! Donations must be made by Wednesday, June 17, 2020 to be eligible for prizes. You may even win more than one! Here’s how it works:

Every $50 you donate earns you a chance to win some amazing prizes!  There are 25 prize baskets worth more than $300 each and are filled with gift cards for food and local services, cool products, and awesome experiences for the whole family.  You may win gift cards to local eateries such as Din Tai Fung, Eureka!, Mr. West, Bistro Shirlee/General Porpoise Doughnuts, Daniel’s Broiler, Agua Verde,  Cactus dinner for 4, Terra Plata Paella Night for 4, The Crepe Cafe, Sand Point Grill, Pagliacci Pizza, Starbucks, and more; experiences such as golf for 3 at Sand Point Country Club or Sahalee Golf Club, a Macrina Bakery tour with tasting and swag, 5 hours of open boating through Sail Sand Point, a family membership to the Mountaineers, fitness classes and memberships at local gyms, a week of camp at TGA or Seattle Celtic Soccer Club, birthday parties at Alpha Martial Arts and Arena Sports, UW football tickets, wine tasting at Total Wine, tutoring sessions at Uplift Writing and Math Fusion, and more; gift certificates for Costco, Home Depot, City People’s Mercantile, Williams Sonoma, QFC, Whole Foods, Metropolitan Market, University Village, Gregg’s Cycle, REI, an EPIC haircut, a family mini-photography session from Kim Hildebrand Photography, a custom cake, facials, a mani/pedi, and SO MUCH MORE

We will draw all prizes on Thursday, June 18, 2020 and will notify winners.  We will coordinate shipping/mailing prizes to winners outside the local area.  The more you donate, the more chances you have to win!

Spread the word far and wide. Anyone is eligible to win these prizes (even your grandma in West Virginia!).  Sand Point Elementary needs your support, and our committee has worked hard to procure amazing prizes from local businesses as an incentive for you to donate.
